What this site collects, and what it does not.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It is set to store nothing until you agree: if you decline, or ignore the notice, no analytics cookie is written and no usage data is recorded against you.

If you do agree, Google Analytics sets a cookie so it can tell a returning visit from a new one. What it records is the page you viewed, roughly where in the world you are, the site or search that sent you, and general details about your browser and device. Your IP address is anonymised before it is stored.

We never enable the advertising features. Nothing here is used to build an advertising profile, to follow you to other sites, or to target you later. Google processes this data on our behalf, and their handling of it is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.

What the site stores on your device

Two small values, both in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie:

• Your theme choice, so the site stays light or dark as you set it.
• Your answer about analytics, so you are not asked again on every page.

Neither is sent anywhere. Both stay on your device, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Changing your mind

Clear this site's data in your browser settings and the notice will appear again on your next visit, letting you choose differently. Blocking cookies or using a private window has the same effect.

We also honour Global Privacy Control where your browser sends it.

Booking a call

The booking button takes you to Google Appointment Scheduling, which is a Google service on a Google domain. Whatever you enter there, such as your name, email address and anything you write in the notes, goes to Google and to us so we can hold the meeting. We use it to prepare for and run the call, and for nothing else.

Email

If you write to us, we keep the message so we can reply and so we have a record of the conversation. Writing to us does not put you on the mailing list. That only happens if you fill in the form below the blog posts.

The mailing list

There are two forms on this site and this is the first, at the end of each blog post and on the blog index. It asks for your email address, and what you are agreeing to is written next to it: We will email you when there is a new post. Nothing else, and you can stop it by replying to any message.

Submitting it stores five things, and only these five:

• Your email address.
• The page you submitted from, so we can tell which writing earns readers.
• The sentence above, saved word for word, so what you agreed to is on the record next to your address rather than being whatever this page happens to say later.
• Whether the form's spam check was tripped, so we can tell junk from real signups without throwing away a real one.
• The date and time.

No IP address, no browser details, and no cookie. The form works with JavaScript turned off, and submitting it is the only way anything about you is recorded.

The list lives in a Google Sheet that only the two of us can open, so your address goes to Google as our processor and to us, and to nobody else. It is never sold, shared, or used to advertise to you. To come off the list, or to ask what we hold, write to hello@kayzn.io and we will delete the row and tell you it is done. You can also reply to any email we send.

Sending us a criterion

The second form is on the criterion page. It is the only place this site asks for more than an email address, and it stores exactly what you type into it and nothing else:

• What the AI agent does, and where it is today, as you described them.
• The criterion itself.
• Your name and email address, plus your company or project, if you supplied one.
• The page you submitted from, the sentence you agreed to, saved word for word, and the date and time.

We will use this to write back about your criterion, and to follow up once about whether we can help. Nothing goes on a mailing list unless you ask, and nothing is shared outside Kayzn.

No IP address, no browser details and no cookie, and the form works with JavaScript turned off. It goes to a Google Sheet only the two of us can open, so it reaches Google as our processor and us, and nobody else. It does not put you on the mailing list. That only happens through the other form.

Do not send production traces, customer data or anything under an NDA through this form. It does not need any of it, and the page says so. If an engagement later involves us receiving traces, that is a different arrangement with its own written answer on the data handling page.

To have a submission deleted, write to hello@kayzn.io and we will remove the row and tell you it is done.

What we do not do

• No advertising or retargeting pixels.
• No social media trackers, embedded video, or embedded maps.
• No selling or sharing of anything with data brokers.
• No account to create, and no login.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. Write to hello@kayzn.io and we will answer. We hold very little, so in most cases the honest answer is a booking record or an email thread.

Changes

If we start using something that collects more than the above, this page changes before that goes live, not after.
